We stayed at the Qualicum Heritage Inn on Sep 2 and Sep 3rd (2005) in
Room 453 which is said to be haunted. We took some photos and noticed some strange abnormalities in them. Please view these files and judge for yourself.

We did hear running footsteps many times throughout our stay that appeared to come from the hallway. It sounded like kids running, The weird part is that you never heard the running steps go anyhere. It would be like (in a very muffled tone) boom, boom, boom, boom and then nothing. Then five minutes later, you'd hear (very muffled, not loud) boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, then nothing.
I was lucky enough to actually be in the hallway when I heard the footsteps. The weirdest eerie part is that they did not come from any direction. They weren't above me, below me, infront of me, or to the rear of me. There was no direction they were coming from! It's almost like the sounds were coming from another dimension instead of a direction.

The room was actually suppose to be number 459 but the hotel owners said that the numbers kept going missing. As a result, when they changed the room to 453 the numbers remained. You can actually see all the holes in the door from the frequent number changes they went through over the years.

In one particular photo we found many orbs which some people refer to as a visual representation of a spirit.

This picture we took showing the candle appears to show the flame outside of the candle! Other photos we have containing candles look normal -- not sure why this flame appears on the outer side of the candle (instead of the middle where the wick is normally)

We did have the TV on CNN that night, but in all of the pictures we took, this is the only one where any image was reflected in the window. What's even weirder, is why do you see a double image instead of a single one? Is that CNN, or could it be something else? Maybe it's both?

In this photo, on the right window near the hallway door, you can make out the faint image of a man who looks somewhat like a fisherman. Make sure you click the photo to see the large full scale version.
